We're looking for a writer-editor who can spot the stories that matter, turn them into clear scripts, and hold a high bar for accuracy across every stage of production. The roleScan the day's headlines and judge quickly what's worth covering and why.Write and edit video scripts that explain complex topics clearly and concisely.Review and edit educational content.Research unfamiliar subjects using AI tools, and fact-check everything — especially numbers and statistics.Review Ai generated voiceovers and amend where required.Work with our remote video editing team: answer their questions, catch errors, and unblock them quickly.

What we're looking forBroad curiosity about the news, especially technological developments, and a good instinct for relative importance.Someone who follows the long-running storylines in AI and tech — Meta falling behind, Anthropic pulling away from OpenAI, Europe struggling to stay relevant against the US and China — and understands where they're heading.Adaptable: comfortable with AI tools and happy to learn new ones, used to working around technical obstacles and adopting new workflows quickly.Focused and efficient with large volumes of fast-moving information.An excellent eye for detail and for statistics.An ear for voiceover — able to hear subtle differences in speed, emphasis and tone.Strong storytelling: making complicated things easy to understand.Native or fluent English.
