About The Role

Risk Management Processes, Data and Operations is part of OP Pohjola's Risk Management organization. We design and develop data-intensive capabilities to support Risk Management needs. Our work includes designing technological environments, automating analytical solutions, and productizing data. Effective data management plays a central role in everything we do.

As a Data Analyst Trainee, you will have an important role within our organization. Your work will contribute in estimating, modelling, and reporting of various financial risks. You will work at the heart of Risk Management and participate in a variety of data-intensive development projects and operational activities related to data processing.

The role offers diverse responsibilities ranging from developing risk management analytics and data pipelines to performing data management tasks.

We follow agreed ways of working across projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational activities. Deliverables must be presented clearly and concisely, focusing on what matters most, both verbally and in writing in English. Thorough documentation is essential to us. We value transparency and knowledge sharing both within our unit and with our stakeholders.

You understand that successful data management requires both an understanding of end-to-end data processes and the business meaning of data.

You are interested in processing data, data governance, data quality analysis, and documentation.

You are an independent and proactive specialist who can prioritize and manage your own work effectively. You appreciate the importance of comprehensive documentation and enjoy building networks with new colleagues. You possess excellent teamwork skills and are comfortable both giving and receiving feedback in a constructive and positive manner.

We expect strong spoken and written English communication skills.

As a Data Analyst Trainee, you will join the RM Processes, Data and Operations unit within Risk Management, where approximately forty data analysts work together. We share common ways of working and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.

RM Processes, Data and Operations is part of OP Pohjola's Risk Management organization. We design and deliver data-intensive capabilities to support risk management needs. Our work includes designing technology environments, automating analytical solutions, productizing data, and ensuring data quality.

During your Data Analyst Trainee period, you will become part of a project team consisting of several data development professionals. Our ways of working are designed to support your success, and you will have the opportunity to apply and develop your skills in a variety of ways.

As part of the selection process, all finalist candidates will undergo personality assessments.The employment contract will be for the period from March 1 to August 31, 2027.
