Role DescriptionWe're hiring a Data Engineer to join a leading European data and AI consultancy building an analytical data platform on Azure Databricks for a German insurer. This role focuses on migrating broker master data from legacy systems and building the monitoring and validation that keeps the new platform reliable through go-live in January 2027 and stabilisation to the end of March. What You'll DoMigrate broker master data from existing source systems, including Oracle and IBM iSupport data catalogue, lineage, monitoring and alerting set-upPrepare test data and build reconciliation scripts to validate migrated dataHelp transfer Databricks knowledge to the client's internal team What We're Looking ForProven data engineering experience with SQL and Python or PySparkFluent in written and spoken EnglishNice to have: data extraction from Oracle or IBM i, Databricks certification, Azure experience, German Why This RoleA focused part-time contract where you'll own the migration of critical master data onto a greenfield Databricks platform in the finance and insurance sector.
