Company based in Copenhagen, Denmark.Climate Technology | Data Engineering | Data Infrastructure | Analytics Engineering Our client, a growing Climate Technology company based in Copenhagen, is looking for a Data Engineer to build and improve the pipelines and data infrastructure supporting its product, analytics, and operational teams. You'll work across data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and cloud infrastructure, helping turn complex datasets into reliable, accessible data products. What You'll Work On• Build and maintain production data pipelines using Python and SQL• Develop and orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow• Build scalable analytical data infrastructure in Snowflake• Develop transformation models and workflows using dbt• Integrate data from APIs, databases, and external sources• Design reliable ingestion and transformation processes• Improve data quality, testing, and monitoring across pipelines• Optimise SQL queries and data models for performance• Build and operate data workloads on AWS• Automate repetitive data engineering processes• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and production data issues• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to make trusted data easily available Core Skills• 3+ years in Data Engineering or a similar role• Python• SQL• Apache Airflow• Snowflake• dbt• AWS• Experience building and operating production data pipelines Nice to HaveKafkaSparkPostgreSQLAWS S3 / Glue / LambdaTerraformDockerData-quality frameworksData observabilityCI/CD for data pipelinesDimensional modellingExperience working with environmental, energy, IoT, or geospatial datasets
