Data Migration Lead – SAP S/4HANA Transformation

We are looking for a Data Migration Lead to join a global S/4HANA Transformation program within Service Capability, supporting our client's initiative to standardize and streamline business processes across all units. This role is ideal for a structured, proactive SAP professional who takes full ownership of complex data workstreams and thrives on driving alignment across many stakeholders. As part of this transformation, Service Capability covers a set of complex and highly interconnected processes and data domains, including equipment structures, service orders, product data, and historical transactions. The Data Migration Lead ensures that this data is accurate, complete, and consistently structured in the target system — a critical prerequisite for a successful implementation, and a role with real influence over the pace and quality of the whole program. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive the end-to-end data migration workstream for Service Capability.Define and maintain a clear structure for migration scope, data objects, ownership, and planning.Identify and define relevant data objects within the migration scope.Drive data cleansing and ensure required data quality levels are achieved.Ensure data validation before and after each migration cycle.Plan and lead execution of mock cycles (Mock 0–3).Ensure alignment between data migration, process design, testing, and release planning.Coordinate activities across the program, business stakeholders, different capabilities, and external partners.Manage dependencies to other areas such as process design, integration, and testing.Identify, manage, and escalate data-related risks and blockers, and ensure timely resolution of data issues and gaps.Provide structured reporting on status, progress, and risks to project leadership.Establish and maintain structure for data requirements, gaps, actions, and follow-up, ensuring transparency, traceability, and clear decision support throughout the workstream. QualificationsSolid experience working with SAP, preferably within service-related processes.Understanding of SAP S/4HANA and template-based implementations.Experience from transformation, harmonization, or system implementation initiatives.Ability to work in a global environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholdersStrong communication skills in English.
