Position Description

CGI Business Consulting is expanding its advisory capabilities within Business-Driven AI in Western and Southern Sweden.

We are looking for experienced management consultants who are passionate about helping organizations turn Artificial Intelligence into measurable business value.

As a Director Consulting Expert, you will advise executive management teams on how AI can strengthen competitiveness, improve productivity, create new business opportunities and transform the way organizations operate, innovate and create value.

Rather than focusing on AI technology alone, you will help clients answer fundamental business questions:

Where can AI create the greatest business value? Which investments should we prioritize? Is our organization ready for AI? Do we have the right data, architecture and governance? How do we adopt AI responsibly and at scale? How do we realize measurable business outcomes?

You will work at the intersection of business strategy, organizational transformation, technology readiness and AI governance, helping organizations prepare for and successfully adopt AI across their business.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, advising executive management teams and building long-term client relationships while helping shape CGI's market position and advisory capabilities within Business-Driven AI.

Typical clients include organizations within manufacturing, automotive & mobility, energy & utilities, public sector, transportation & logistics, healthcare & life sciences and other industries undergoing significant business transformation.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Successful AI adoption requires much more than selecting the right technology.

You will help clients understand whether they are ready to scale AI by assessing the organizational and technical foundations required for long-term success.

Data Strategy & Data Readiness Information Management Enterprise & Solution Architecture Cloud & Platform Strategy Integration Strategy AI Governance Responsible AI AI Risk Management Information Security & Privacy Technology Roadmaps

While you are not expected to design technical solutions yourself, you should have a strong understanding of how data, technology, enterprise architecture, cloud platforms and governance influence successful AI adoption. You will work closely with CGI's specialists across these domains to help executive management teams make informed strategic decisions and establish the right foundations for long-term AI success.

AI Regulation & Compliance

The regulatory landscape surrounding AI is evolving rapidly, creating new opportunities and responsibilities for both private and public organizations.

You will help clients understand how emerging legislation, standards and governance frameworks influence AI adoption and business transformation.

EU AI Act Responsible AI AI Governance AI Risk Management GDPR ISO/IEC 42001 ISO/IEC 23894 Data Governance Ethical AI Organizational AI Policies

You will support clients in establishing governance structures, decision-making processes and organizational capabilities that enable responsible, secure and compliant AI adoption.

Thought Leadership & Capability Development

You will play an important role in helping shape and grow CGI's advisory capabilities within Business-Driven AI.

Developing and commercializing new consulting offerings Contributing to CGI's methodologies and best practices Sharing knowledge across CGI's national and global network Coaching colleagues, supporting recruitment and strengthening CGI's AI advisory capabilities Representing CGI through executive briefings, conferences, publications, industry forums and strategic partnerships Staying at the forefront of emerging AI trends, technologies and regulations

Business Development & Sales

As a Director Consulting Expert, you are expected to take a leading role in growing CGI's business, strengthening our market position and expanding our advisory capabilities within Business-Driven AI.

Leading strategic business development initiatives within existing and new client accounts Identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities into consulting engagements Building trusted relationships with executive leadership teams and board-level stakeholders Leading executive-level customer dialogues around AI strategy, business transformation and organizational readiness Leading major proposals, bids and client presentations Packaging, developing and commercializing CGI's Business-Driven AI offerings Representing CGI at customer meetings, conferences, executive roundtables and industry events Establishing strategic partnerships with technology partners, academia and innovation ecosystems Collaborating across CGI's business units to create integrated client solutions Contributing to account growth strategies and expanding existing client engagements

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

We are looking for someone who combines strong business acumen with a strategic consulting mindset and a genuine passion for helping organizations realize business value through AI.

You should be a recognized leader with a proven ability to advise executive management teams, influence strategic decision-making and build long-term client relationships. You have a strong track record of developing business, leading complex transformation initiatives and helping organizations translate emerging technologies into measurable business value.

Fluency in English is required. Swedish is considered an advantage.
