Director – Infrastructure Debt AdvisoryLeading Nordic Bank A leading Nordic bank is seeking a Director to strengthen its Infrastructure Debt Advisory team. This is a senior role combining origination, client relationship management and transaction execution, advising infrastructure investors, financial sponsors and corporate clients on complex financing requirements.The team covers a broad range of core and core-plus infrastructure assets, including energy and utilities, renewable generation and storage, digital infrastructure, transport, environmental services and social infrastructure. The role You will take responsibility for developing client relationships and leading debt advisory mandates, from identifying financing requirements and designing capital structures through to negotiating terms and completing transactions.Working closely with sector specialists, corporate finance colleagues and financing teams, you will advise clients on acquisition financing, refinancing, recapitalisations and project financing. Key responsibilities Originate debt advisory opportunities and develop relationships with infrastructure funds, financial sponsors, asset owners and corporate clients.Lead transaction execution, including financing strategy, debt sizing, lender selection, marketing and negotiations.Advise clients on financing alternatives across bank lending, institutional debt and private credit.Review financial models, cash-flow forecasts, sensitivities and covenant structures to assess financing capacity and resilience.Prepare and oversee financing presentations, lender materials and client recommendations.Negotiate commercial terms and coordinate financing documentation alongside legal advisers.Manage internal and external stakeholders throughout the transaction process.Supervise and develop junior colleagues, maintaining strong analytical and execution standards. Candidate requirements Director-level experience, or a strong Vice President ready to progress, within debt advisory, infrastructure finance, project finance, acquisition finance or leveraged finance.A demonstrable track record of executing infrastructure financing transactions.Strong understanding of infrastructure business models, including contracted, regulated and demand-based revenues.Experience structuring financing solutions and engaging with banks, institutional lenders and private debt providers.Excellent financial modelling, credit analysis and transaction management skills.Ability to lead negotiations and communicate confidently with senior clients.Commercial judgement, an established professional network and evidence of originating mandates or contributing materially to business development.A collaborative approach and experience mentoring junior team members.
