EHS Senior Specialist

What You’ll Do

In this mostly on-site role the person is responsible for overlooking, implementing and continuously improving EHS of integrated management system. As part of the site's EHS team, your role is to ensure compliance with Finnish legislation as well as Eaton's EHS management system (MESH) requirements and practices while fostering a proactive safety culture. In this role you will work as subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities

Execute the site's EHS strategySupport achievement of site and business EHS KPIs and objectivesParticipate the annual EHS Roadmap and support the effective and timely implementationDrive a strong safety culture through engagement, couching and CI initiativesOver all picture and responsibility of MESH requirements and dedicated programsIdentify and evaluate operational EHS risks, lead mitigation strategies, coordinate incident investigations, and implement measures to prevent workplace injuries and illnessesBuild and maintaintrusted relationsships with diferent stakeholders (operational leaders, operators) communicating EHS performance, managing expectations and providing data to to drive effective decision makingEHS data monitoring and analysis

Bachelor/Master of Science in relevant field or similarExperience from a similar role in an industrial manufacturing sector

Skills

Fluent Finnish and English language skillsProfiency in MS Office and EHS reporting systems.Knowledge of local EHS legislation and safety standards.Management system knowledge (ISO 14001/ISO 45001)Able to lead risk assessments and audits.Ability to lead programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
