Electrical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities: Own and coordinate technical activities linked to Electrical Buildings. Ensure interfaces between electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, telecom, and security. Coordinate design reviews and technical decisions affecting the electrical buildings. Follow up on building layouts, equipment placement, access, maintainability, and constructability. Ensure coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Review technical deliverables and follow up on design maturity. Identify and drive the resolution of design clashes and interface issues. Support construction planning, sequencing, and readiness ahead of electrical installations. Participate in site inspections, technical walkdowns, and quality reviews. Coordinate punch-lists, close-outs, handover documentation, testing, energization, and start-up. Mandatory Requirements: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. At least 8 to 10 years of experience from industrial electrical engineering projects. Experience from large industrial, infrastructure, power, energy, mining, or steel projects. Experience with HV/MV/LV switchgear or substations. Experience with electrical buildings and/or E-houses. Experience with industrial power distribution systems. Experience with EPC/EPCM projects. Experience with multidisciplinary engineering coordination. Experience with construction and commissioning support. Ability to work onsite in Luleå. Meritorious (Preferred): Experience from the steel industry, mining industry, energy, power transmission, or other heavy industry. Familiarity with Swedish engineering practices, regulatory requirements, and permitting processes. Practical experience with Swedish and European standards for industrial electrical installations and electrical buildings. Experience with commissioning and energization of industrial electrical systems. Experience managing multidisciplinary interfaces in large EPC/EPCM projects. Technical Environment & Knowledge AreasThe role requires a good understanding of power distribution, transformers, MV/LV switchgear, earthing/grounding, lightning protection, electrical room design, installation requirements, cable routing, cable penetrations, grounding/bonding, HVAC for electrical rooms, fire detection, fire protection, industrial telecom, security systems, and building services that support electrical installations.
