Electronics Engineer, IoT and Wireless

We’re currently looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to join an established Swedish technology specialist developing advanced IoT, wireless and connected products. You’ll be working on technically challenging projects spanning satellite communications, VR, advanced IoT gateways and next-generation connected devices — giving you the opportunity to work with sophisticated digital hardware and make a real impact on product development. Responsibilities As a senior member of the hardware engineering team, you’ll take a leading technical role in the architecture, design and development of complex embedded hardware.You’ll work closely with experienced system architects, RF engineers, antenna specialists and embedded software developers, helping to solve challenging problems where high-speed digital design, signal integrity, EMC and wireless performance all come together.This is a role for an engineer who enjoys going beyond simply designing boards — you’ll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, solve difficult engineering problems and contribute throughout the product development lifecycle. Qualifications A BSc or MSc in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics or a related discipline. Required Skills Strong commercial experience designing embedded hardware around advanced microcontrollers and CPUs.Proven experience with high-speed digital design and signal integrity.Hands-on experience with high-speed interfaces.A good understanding of EMC and signal integrity, including how digital hardware can affect RF and radio performance.Experience using signal-integrity and simulation tools, such as HyperLynx or similar.Strong technical communication skills and excellent written and spoken English.The ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams. Preferred Skills Altium Designer.High-speed PCB layout and simulation.EMC testing, debugging and design.Hardware validation and troubleshooting.Working closely with embedded software teams.Taking hardware products from architecture and schematic design through PCB development, testing and production. Pay range and compensation package Location: Kista, Stockholm – on-site. You’ll be based within a collaborative, in-house engineering environment alongside a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.
