Engineering Manager (Engagement)

We are currently seeking a an Engineering Manager, remote role, for one of our client companies. Engineering ManagerThe ideal candidate is a hands-on Engineering Leader who combines strong technical depth with proven people-management experience. They’ve grown from a senior software engineering background into leading teams and are comfortable moving between technical decisions, delivery, and people development. Responsibilities:Lead and develop a team of software engineers and QA through 1:1s, goal setting, performance reviews, and ongoing feedbackOwn the team’s technical roadmap and architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiencyOwn end-to-end delivery from planning through release, driving predictable execution, quality, and time-to-marketPartner with Product, PMs, and Engineering Leads to align technical priorities with business goalsMake and guide complex technical decisions while contributing to the codebase when neededImprove engineering processes, workflows, KPIs, and incident managementBuild a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvementReduce knowledge silos and establish strong cross-functional and end-to-end ownership within the teamDrive team engagement, retention, and professional developmentEnsure consistent delivery and strong engineering performance across the domain Qualifications:7+ years of hands-on software development experience3+ years of experience leading software engineering teamsProven people-management experience, including 1:1s, performance reviews, goal setting, and development plansStrong backend and frontend development experienceStrong working knowledge of Java, Spring, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and CI/CDExperience with cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or AzureExperience with relational databases and NoSQL solutions; MySQL is a plusStrong understanding of software architecture, scalability, reliability, and system performanceExperience owning technical roadmaps and end-to-end software deliveryStrong cross-functional communication and collaboration skillsUpper-Intermediate English or higheriGaming industry experience is highly desirable How to ApplyRegister to Reelu Talent community and get matched today!Enter your emailUpload your CVCreate your StoryboardOnce your Storyboard is live, apply to this role in the “Jobs” tab Joining Reelu also means you may be considered for future opportunities with our partner companies.
