Environmental Specialist

At Oximio, we help accelerate clinical research by delivering reliable clinical trial logistics solutions across the globe. We’re looking for an Environmental Specialist to support our global environmental strategy, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards while helping drive sustainable practices across the organisation. In this role, you’ll work across the business to develop and maintain environmental management processes, monitor environmental performance, support ISO 14001 implementation and identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and associated risks. Key areas of responsibility include:Updating and reviewing environmental policies, procedures and standard operating proceduresDeveloping, implementing and maintaining Oximio’s Environmental Management ProgrammeMonitoring environmental performance, preparing relevant data and reporting on environmental KPIsDeveloping action plans and methodologies to improve environmental performance and minimise legal and financial risksSupporting the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management SystemMonitoring current and upcoming environmental legislation, standards, initiatives and industry trendsConducting environmental assessments and identifying environmental risks associated with company activitiesRecommending appropriate mitigation and improvement plansDeveloping and supporting environmental training and awareness initiativesMaintaining Environmental Management System documentation and recordsSupporting continuous improvement of Oximio’s environmental management practices We’re looking for someone with:1–2 years of relevant experience in an environmental, sustainability or similar roleHigher education in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability or a related disciplineDemonstrated knowledge and practical experience with Environmental Management SystemsExperience supporting or implementing ISO 14001Up-to-date knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and regulatory requirementsStrong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to assess environmental risks and develop practical solutionsExcellent written and spoken English What we offer:Fully remote working in an international environmentOpportunity to work across a global organisation and support environmental initiativesExposure to international environmental standards and regulatory requirementsProfessional development opportunitiesA supportive culture focused on innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement If you’re passionate about environmental management, sustainability and regulatory compliance and want to make an impact within a global organisation, we’d love to hear from you. 👉 Apply now or share this opportunity with your network.
