EU/NATO International Projects Coordinator/Business development

Your role

You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting Saab Dynamics Business Unit Missile Systems' engagement in international defence collaborations and funding programs, including EDF, EDA, and NATO initiatives. You will serve as a key interface between product units, business unit management, and Business Area Dynamics functions, helping identify business opportunities, align stakeholders, and drive projects from concept to execution.

Your responsibilities will include

"The spider in the web": Coordinate and lead business unit missile systems participation in international collaborations within programs such as EDF, EDA and NATO.Strategic Planning: Shape the future product portfolio together with our product units by jointly identifying, shape and implement EU and NATO programs and initiatives.Project Management Excellence: Provide technical and supervisory directions to projects and services, from design to start-up, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.Expertise in EU/NATO processes: Develop expertise in shaping and winning EU initiatives such as EDF, EDALeadership & Team Building: Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.Global Collaboration: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across borders, building strong relationships and driving successful partnerships.

To succeed in this role, you will possess

A strong understanding of international defense programs and collaborations.Proven experience in project management, with a focus on implementing and executing strategies.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Swedish.A good understanding of the defense and industrial landscape, with insight into how industrial capabilities, technology development, and customer requirements come together to drive successful outcomes.A passion for innovation and a keen interest in how new technology can benefit our products.A high degree of self-drive and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
