Factory Director ALGERIA

We are partnering with a well-established, high-performing manufacturing business to appoint a Factory Director to lead one of its key production sites. This is a critical leadership role, responsible for driving operational excellence, performance, and long-term site strategy.This position will suit a commercially aware, hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a track record of delivering results across complex manufacturing operations. THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION TO ALGERIA. The RoleAs Factory Ops Director, you will take full ownership of site performance, leading all aspects of operations including production, engineering, supply chain, quality, and health & safety.You will be responsible for:Leading and developing a high-performing leadership team across the siteDriving operational efficiency, productivity, and cost optimisationDelivering continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, CI frameworks)Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and complianceOwning site P&L and delivering against financial targetsDeveloping and executing long-term operational strategyBuilding a strong performance culture focused on accountability and resultsCollaborating with group leadership and key stakeholders across the business The CandidateWe are looking for a proven manufacturing leader with:Significant experience leading large-scale manufacturing or production sitesA strong track record of improving operational performance and delivering measurable resultsDeep understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience managing complex teams and driving cultural changeStrong commercial acumen with P&L responsibilityExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsFluency in both English and French (essential)Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred)
