Uber AI Solutions is Uber's marketplace connecting experienced independent contractors with Generative AI research and evaluation work. We're inviting finance professionals based in EMEA to collaborate on project-based freelance engagements focused on generating, auditing and validating high-quality financial prompts for model-stumping use cases for complex datasets.

What you'll work onAs a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will apply your financial expertise to ensure AI model outputs are accurate, mathematically auditable, and aligned with real-world financial reasoning. Response Evaluation & Auditing: Assess the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of model-generated financial responses against real-world financial knowledge and complex institutional documents (e.g., financial statements, bond prospectuses, investment reports).Justification Review: Critique and validate the underlying reasoning, methodologies, and justifications provided for each model response.Gap & Error Identification: Pinpoint inconsistencies, parsing errors, calculation breakdowns, or logical gaps across areas like sequential cascading calculations and complex financial modeling.Expert Recommendations: Provide structured guidance on how responses can be improved, including delivering the expected correct answers, failure narratives, and supporting rationales. Engagement detailsLocation: Remote (EMEA)*Engagement Type: Freelance/Independent Contractor collaboration, through the Uber AI Solutions platform.Engagement Schedule: Project success is built on consistent collaboration. We encourage contributors to provide between 4 to 8 hours of availability per day, ideally within a fixed time slot, to ensure seamless alignment with our project teamsCompensation: Competitive professional rate or fee structured per verified curated/audited item. Who we're looking for5+ years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, financial advisory, equity research, institutional credit analysis, or corporate finance. Deep practitioner knowledge in at least one key financial domain (expertise across two or more is a strong advantage for cross-workstream deployment):Fixed Income Research (debt instruments, collateral performance, yield/recovery analysis)Quantitative Finance (statistical modeling, portfolio construction, options pricing, risk analytics)Asset & Wealth ManagementInvestment Banking (M&A, valuation bridges/concepts)Corporate Finance / FP&A workflows (variance analysis, pro forma planning) Technical Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce (BCom/MCom), Mathematics, Statistics, or an equivalent quantitative/business discipline.Certifications: Professional designations such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA(SA), SAIPA, CIMA, CFA, FRM, or equivalent regional professional accounting and finance qualifications are highly preferred and prioritized.Analytical Rigor: High attention to detail with prior experience conducting quality reviews, annotations, or reviewing analytical reports and financial modeling methodologies.Communication: Ability to draft highly technical, practitioner-grade financial documentation and feedback in professional English.
