Role: Financial Business ConsultantClient: Leader in constructionLocation: RemoteStart date: AsapEnd date : 12-18 months For one of our international clients, we are looking for an experienced Business Process Transformation Lead to support a large-scale Finance Transformation and AI Enablement programme.This role will sit within the Business Transformation Office and play a key role in driving business process redesign, standardization, automation and AI-driven transformation initiatives across the organization.The successful candidate will act as the bridge between Finance Operations, Business SMEs and Technology teams, taking ownership of transformation workstreams from current-state assessment through solution design, testing, implementation and benefits realization.This is a hands-on transformation role requiring strong business analysis, process improvement and stakeholder management capabilities, combined with a solid understanding of finance operations and digital transformation. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end process transformation initiatives across Finance Operations, Shared Services and Accounting functionsConduct current-state assessments and process discovery workshops to identify pain points, inefficiencies and improvement opportunitiesFacilitate workshops with business SMEs and stakeholders to gather requirements and define future-state solutionsDesign and document Target Operating Models (TOMs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, SOPs, process maps, RACIs and swim lane diagramsTranslate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for technology teamsIdentify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, automation and AI implementationSupport the design and evaluation of transformation solutions, including AI, RPA and digital technologiesCoordinate testing activities including UAT planning, execution, issue tracking and validationSupport deployment, hypercare and change adoption activities to ensure successful implementationPrepare business cases, cost-benefit analyses and benefits tracking reportsDevelop project dashboards, KPI reporting and executive-level updatesWork closely with Finance, PMO, Technology, AI and Change Management teams to ensure successful project deliveryProactively manage risks, dependencies and delivery challenges throughout the project lifecycleCapture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of transformation methodologies and best practices Required Experience Proven experience leading business process transformation and finance transformation initiativesStrong knowledge of:Record-to-Report (R2R)Procure-to-Pay (P2P)Order-to-Cash (O2C)Fixed AssetsTreasuryShared ServicesAccounting Operations Experience redesigning business processes from current-state assessment through implementation and stabilizationStrong business analysis skills with experience translating business needs into practical solutions and technical requirements Proven experience creating: Target Operating Models (TOMs)BRDsUser StoriesSOPsProcess MapsRACIsSwim Lane Diagrams Experience conducting workshops and stakeholder interviews with business SMEs and senior leadership teamsExperience supporting UAT, deployment and hypercare activitiesStrong understanding of automation, digital transformation and AI-enabled business processesExperience delivering KPI reporting, transformation dashboards and executive communicationsStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teamsStrong project management and organizational skillsExcellent communication, facilitation and presentation skillsAbility to work in complex international environments with multiple stakeholdersProficiency with Microsoft Office and Power BIExperience with process mapping and business analysis tools Nice to HaveExperience with AI-driven process improvement initiativesExperience identifying and implementing AI use cases within Finance OperationsExposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutionsKnowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile or other transformation methodologiesExperience within large multinational organizations or Shared Service CentersConsulting background within transformation, process improvement or business operations Why This Assignment?
