Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Finnish financial accounting team. We are mainly responsible for local statutory financial statements (FAS) and indirect and direct taxes for our Finnish companies. You will work in collaboration with a team of six experts and together we take care of four juridical companies in Finland.

Your key responsibilities

Preparing Finnish and Foreign registrations VAT compliance and VAT reconciliationsPreparing Intrastat reportingBe responsible for various mandatory regulatory reportingTake responsibility for tasks concerning fixed assetsHandle various other team tasks

What you will bring

Suitable education in financial accounting and at least a few years of experience in financial rolesKnowledge of basic VAT matters within an international environmentFluent in using Office software, particularly ExcelHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks with deadlinesFlexibility during busy reporting periodsInitiative, accountability, and a service-oriented attitudeProficiency in the English and Finnish languagesA positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills

It's a plus if you have

Knowledge of foreign VAT registration mattersExpertise in Intrastat reportingKnowledge of matters related to income taxationSAP and oneStream skillsFamiliarity with IFRS/FASWork experience in a large international corporation
