Functional Analyst

Alexander Daniels Global is supporting a leading technology company looking for a Functional Analyst to join a growing team delivering Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects for leading manufacturing organisations across Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and manufacturing, helping businesses optimise production processes, improve quality, and accelerate their digital transformation journey. As a Functional Analyst, you'll work closely with customers to understand their manufacturing operations, gather requirements, and translate those needs into functional MES solutions that deliver measurable business value. You'll act as the bridge between manufacturing stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, documented, and implemented. From discovery workshops through testing and go-live, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering digital manufacturing solutions that support operational excellence. Key Responsibilities*Collaborate with clients to understand manufacturing processes, workflows, and business requirements.*Translate operational requirements into functional system designs and solution specifications.*Produce clear functional design documentation and user requirements.*Support solution configuration and implementation activities.*Work closely with technical teams throughout project delivery. What We're Looking For*Native or professional-level French language skills.*Experience as a Functional Analyst, MES Consultant, Business Analyst, or similar role.*Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).*Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.*Excellent communication and documentation abilities.*Experience supporting testing, validation, and system deployment activities.
