Golang Architect

RED Global are seeking an experienced Golang Architect to join a large-scale cloud-native transformation programme focused on building and delivering modern integration services, platform capabilities, and open-source solutions within a highly innovative environment. This role will play a key part in defining architecture, guiding development teams, and building scalable cloud-native applications and integration scenarios, with a strong focus on Go, Kubernetes, DevOps, and modern open-source technologies. Project details: Role: Golang Architect Start: ASAPLong term contract: Until December 2027Location: Europe (100% Remote)Languages: English (German desirable) Key Responsibilities: Define and document architecture for cloud-native services, applications, and integration scenariosTranslate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable development deliverablesLead the design and implementation of scalable Go-based microservices and distributed systemsEstablish and document DevOps, CI/CD, operational, and deployment conceptsCollaborate closely with architects, developers, and product stakeholders across international teamsContribute hands-on to development, technical documentation, testing, and solution validation activitiesPresent architectural decisions, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Required Experience & Skills: 5+ years' commercial experience developing software in Go / GolangStrong background designing and building cloud-native architectures and distributed systemsExtensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s), including building, scaling, and operating production clustersExperience developing Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, CRDs, or platform automation tooling is highly desirableStrong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Git-based development practicesExperience with Docker, Linux, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, and cloud-native toolingExposure to TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or Java would be beneficialExcellent communication skills with the ability to work independently in a highly technical environment If you are interested, please apply now with your updated CV for immediate consideration.
