In addition, the company provides sales and maintenance services for used machines, offering customers cost-effective solutions throughout the equipment lifecycle. Role Description The Chair of the Board (Hallituksen puheenjohtaja) at Oy Bitpress Ab will lead the work of the Board and ensure effective governance, strategic direction, and long-term development of the company. This part-time, on-site role is based in Vantaa and involves close collaboration with other board members, owners, and the management team. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and chairing board meetings, setting agendas, ensuring high-quality decision-making, and following up on agreed actions. The Chair will support and challenge management on strategy, financial performance, risk management, and business development, particularly in the graphic and prepress equipment sector. The role also includes representing the company in key stakeholder relations and contributing to succession, investment, and growth discussions. Qualifications Proven experience in board work and corporate governance, preferably as Chair or member of a board in an SME environment.Strong strategic and commercial skills, including experience in developing and executing business strategies and growth initiatives.Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and monitoring of key performance indicators.Background in the graphic industry, printing, industrial equipment, or related technical B2B sectors is highly beneficial.Ability to lead board work effectively: preparing agendas, prioritizing topics, facilitating constructive discussion, and ensuring clear decisions.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in a collaborative and inclusive manner.Comfortable working in a hands-on, entrepreneurial setting and supporting management in operational and strategic matters when needed.Fluency in Finnish and good command of English; Swedish or Estonian language skills are an advantage.Relevant higher education in business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
