reelance HV Engineer – Data Centre Projects | EuropeLocation: Various locations across EuropeContract: Freelance / ContractDuration: 6–12+ monthsStart: Immediate / FlexibleSector: Data Centres / Mission CriticalWe are currently supporting multiple data centre construction and commissioning projects across Europe and are looking for experienced HV Engineers to join project teams on a freelance basis.These opportunities are suited to HV professionals with experience working on large-scale, complex electrical projects, ideally within data centres, mission-critical environments, industrial facilities, or major infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of HV electrical systems throughout construction, installation and commissioning.Coordinate HV installation activities with contractors, subcontractors and other project disciplines.Review electrical drawings, specifications, method statements and inspection documentation.Ensure HV works are delivered safely, on programme and to required quality standards.Support testing, commissioning and energisation activities.Coordinate with project management, electrical teams and commissioning teams.Monitor progress and identify technical issues or potential project risks.Ensure works comply with relevant European standards, project specifications and HSE requirements.Participate in inspections, testing and handover activities.Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.RequirementsProven experience working as an HV Engineer / HV Electrical Engineer.Strong knowledge of HV electrical systems, installation and testing.Experience within data centres, mission-critical, industrial, energy or major infrastructure projects.Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.Strong understanding of HV safety procedures, permits and isolation processes.Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.Relevant electrical/HV qualifications and certifications.Strong communication and coordination skills.Willingness to work on projects across Europe.Projects & LocationsWe have opportunities across a number of European data centre markets, including:🇫🇮 Finland | 🇩🇪 Germany | 🇫🇷 France | 🇳🇱 Netherlands | 🇸🇪 Sweden | 🇩🇰 Denmark | 🇳🇴 Norway | 🇮🇪 Ireland | 🇪🇸 Spain | 🇵🇱 Poland | 🇦🇹 Austria | 🇨🇭 SwitzerlandProject locations, rotations, rates and contract durations will vary depending on the assignment.Why Freelance?Competitive European contract ratesLong-term project opportunitiesMajor hyperscale and colocation data centre projectsPotential for extensionsInternational project experienceSupport with mobilisation and complianceOpportunities to work with established data centre delivery teamsInterested?If you're an experienced HV Engineer currently available for a European data centre project, or you're planning your next freelance assignment, we'd be keen to speak with you.Please apply with your CV or contact us directly for a confidential discussion about current and upcoming opportunities.
