Job role: Senior Program Manager / Infrastructure Transformation LeadWork Location: Remote work within Europe Mandatory Languages:•German: Fluent / Business Proficient (Mandatory)•English: Fluent / Business Proficient (Mandatory) Job Description: For one of our client, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager / Infrastructure Transformation Lead to support a large-scale international infrastructure transformation program. The program is currently transitioning from the planning phase into the execution phase. The overall governance structure, project organization, and high-level planning have already been established. We are now looking for someone who can take ownership of the operational delivery, drive execution, and coordinate the various workstreams and stakeholders involved. Project Objective•VMware Exit within a global business area•Modernization of the existing datacenter landscape•Migration of the current VMware environment to modern target platforms Scope•Approximately 17,000 to 20,000 systems•17 international locations•Complex technical and organizational dependencies across multiple teams and regions Target Architecture•Azure Native•Nutanix•Hyper-V•Backstage.io Key Responsibilities•Lead and drive the program during the execution phase•Coordinate and track all migration activities•Manage international stakeholders and project teams•Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and escalations•Prepare and conduct steering committees and management reporting•Ensure delivery against timeline, budget, and quality objectives•Drive decision-making and resolve open topics Requirements•Extensive experience managing large-scale infrastructure or transformation programs•Proven track record in datacenter transformations, cloud migrations, or VMware exit initiatives•Experience working within complex international enterprise environments•Strong stakeholder management and communication skills•Solid understanding of modern infrastructure and cloud technologies•Hands-on attitude with a strong focus on execution and delivery
