CAREER OPPORTUNITY NIS2 Process Implementation Specialist Consulting assignment through Akkodis | Sweden or remote within Europe preferable location Gothenburg | English-speaking environment Turn cybersecurity regulation into processes that work in practice. Akkodis is looking for a structured and proactive specialist who can translate NIS2 requirements, control baselines and SOPs into practical, repeatable and auditable ways of working for a global organization in the medical technology sector. The assignment You will support the design and operational implementation of processes required for the client’s NIS2 programme within Group IT. The work is cross-functional and international, with most collaboration taking place remotely. Success in the role depends on your ability to identify the right stakeholders, obtain missing information, coordinate decisions and move open actions forward. What you will do Analyse existing processes and identify gaps against NIS2 requirements, SOPs and control baselines. Design practical end-to-end processes covering workflows, responsibilities, interfaces, controls, evidence and performance indicators. Create new SOPs and update existing controlled documentation, including process descriptions, work instructions and templates. Ensure traceability between regulatory requirements, controls, processes and SOPs. Facilitate remote workshops and coordinate input from process owners, Cybersecurity, IT Operations and other stakeholders. Clarify ownership, collect missing information and drive decisions and actions to completion. Plan and support process walkthroughs, pilots, training and operational implementation. Capture lessons learned and support handover to operational process owners. Report status, dependencies, risks and unresolved issues to Compliance and project management. What you bring Experience in IT process design and implementation, compliance, risk management or quality management. Hands-on experience creating or maintaining SOPs and controlled process documentation. A good understanding of IT operations, information security and governance processes. The ability to translate regulatory and control requirements into workable operational solutions. Strong written and spoken English. It is an advantage if you have Knowledge of NIS2, ISO 27001, BSI, ITIL or comparable frameworks. Experience from a regulated industry, such as medical technology, pharmaceuticals or another safety-critical environment. Experience working in distributed, international organizations.
