Lead Business Analytics Specialist | Global Brand | Europe

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape how data is transformed and delivered to support advanced analytics and decision-making across a global business environment. You will work on translating complex business requirements into scalable and efficient data transformations within Snowflake, leveraging an existing Unified Data Model and data from SAP ERP and other business applications. LocationHybrid or fully remote, provided you are based within Europe and able to align with Central European working hours. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement robust SQL-based data transformations within Snowflake using an established Unified Data Model.Extend the data model to meet reporting and analytical requirements from business stakeholders using data from SAP ERP and other enterprise applications.Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance through testing, optimisation, and adherence to data modelling best practices.Lead data architecture improvements, metadata management, and governance initiatives to enhance the overall analytics landscape. Required Experience8+ years’ experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Enterprise Analytics.Strong background in designing and delivering scalable data solutions within large, complex organisations.Advanced SQL expertise and deep understanding of data modelling best practices.Deep understanding of SAP ERP data structures, particularly SD, MM, and FICO modules.Experience with Snowflake is highly desirable.Python experience would be advantageous. Skills & QualificationsPassion for transforming business requirements into structured, high-quality data solutions.Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.Fluent English communication skills; additional European languages are advantageous.
