Lead Plant & Civil Engineer | Major Energy Infrastructure ProjectWe are currently supporting a leading organisation within the energy and infrastructure sector in the search for an experienced Lead Plant & Civil Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of a major project. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering professional looking to take ownership of plant and civil engineering activities across a complex, high-value project environment. The Role:🔹 Lead plant and civil engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle🔹 Provide technical leadership across civil, structural and plant-related engineering disciplines🔹 Coordinate engineering activities between internal teams, contractors and specialist suppliers🔹 Review and manage engineering designs, specifications and technical documentation🔹 Support construction, installation and commissioning activities🔹 Identify and manage technical risks, interfaces and engineering issues🔹 Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations and project requirements🔹 Work closely with project management, procurement, construction and wider engineering teams About You:✅ Significant experience in plant and/or civil engineering within major infrastructure, energy, power or industrial projects✅ Proven experience leading engineering activities on large-scale projects✅ Strong understanding of civil/structural interfaces with plant and equipment✅ Experience working with contractors, EPCs and engineering consultants✅ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills✅ Ability to operate effectively within complex, multi-disciplinary project environments This could be particularly relevant to engineers with backgrounds in energy, power generation, transmission & distribution, HVDC/HVAC, substations, utilities, industrial infrastructure or major construction projects.
