GlobalLogic’s Automotive department is looking for Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer. The goal of our project is to optimize and enhance our Automotive Solution with new features. Our clients include Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs from Europe and the USA, and our development efforts focus on automotive solutions that will be integrated into the latest car models. This project is recognized for its technical excellence, and we place a strong emphasis on the technical challenges that motivate our team members.

In this project, we are developing a cutting-edge computer-in-the-car architecture, which is crucial for driving innovation in areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning, and autonomous driving. We face the exciting challenge of setting up infrastructure from scratch to support automotive solutions for European car manufacturers.

Hands-on experience with Azure (preferably) or AWSAutomation solution: Jenkins, Zuul CI, SCM, Git, Terraform, AnsibleStrong knowledge of concepts: Infrastructure-as-Code way-of-working, PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service), IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service)Network configuration and management in dynamic environments (TCPIP stack)(middle level enough)Scripting (basic level): PowerShell, Bash, Apache Groovy, PythonAgile development methodology: Scrum, Scaled Agile, KanbanExperience with GerritTechnical engineering degree (Preferably in the domain of software or systems engineering);Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming PrinciplesStrong communication, multitasking, problem-solving and planning skills.

Experience in embedded(automotive) developmentKnow the basics of automotive (or similar) functional safety standards (ISO26262)Know the basics of any industry standard that provides a framework for defining, implementing, and evaluating the process required for system development (in automotive – ASPICE)C ProgrammingMatlab SimulinkMIL, HIL testing.

Job responsibilities

Develop and maintain software integration and test infrastructure, including build systems, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD) pipelinesCreate and configure end-to-end software build and deployment pipelinesAutomate build and deployment pipelinesFamiliarity with test automation frameworks and tools for embedded software testingWork with the IT department to provision needed infrastructure or do it ourselvesStrong understanding of Agile principles and ready to work in collaboration with developer teamsParticipation in the requirements gathering for CI tasksDevelopment of solutions to enable a stable and high-performing automation framework, including work with the infrastructure, with Zuul/Jenkins, and parts of the build system.Development of an ISO 26262-qualified toolchain and development environment for the flow from Matlab/Simulink to binary
