Lead ServiceNow Developer (ITSM Service Catalog) – Fully Remote Empiric are supporting a leading global organisation on a critical ServiceNow requirement. This is a high-priority opportunity for an experienced ServiceNow Lead Developer to lead catalog modernization initiatives, with a strong focus on enterprise Service Catalog solutions, Flow Designer automation, and technical governance. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and governing end-to-end service request experiences, ensuring scalable request fulfillment while mentoring development teams and defining best practices. Key Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on ServiceNow development experience.Specialized experience in Service Catalog development (Catalog Items, Record Producers, Order Guides, Catalog Builder).Strong expertise in Flow Designer workflows, approvals, notifications, and request fulfillment automation.Deep technical proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and ACLs.Proven experience with REST/SOAP integrations and API design.Demonstrated experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, and managing end-to-end delivery.Experience defining Service Catalog standards, development guidelines, and governance frameworks.Solid background supporting releases, deployments, production incidents, and platform upgrades. Nice to HavesServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).Hands-on Integration Hub configuration and integration experience.Service Portal and Employee Center customization experience.Experience collaborating with architects, product owners, and enterprise stakeholders.
