We are now looking for a Manager for the Software Engineering Team at Humphree.

The team consists of developers working with embedded software, user interface design, backend and frontend development for our cloud platform, as well as software testers. Together they build the complete software ecosystem that powers Humphree’s world‑leading stabilization solutions.

As Manager for the Software Team, you will lead and develop this diverse group, ensuring that the team thrives, collaborates and continues to deliver high‑quality software that moves the company forward. You will work closely with Humphree’s CTO and be part of the R&D management team.

Key Deliverables

Lead, support and mentor a multidisciplinary team of software developers and testersBuild and nurture a high‑performing team culture where people feel motivated, safe and inspiredDrive continuous improvements in ways of working, processes and collaborationEnsure technical direction and alignment across embedded development, cloud services and user interface componentsSecure high software quality throughout the full development chainWork closely with product owners and other leaders within R&D to deliver on our technology roadmap

A university degree (MSc or similar) within software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or a related fieldA background in software development, preferably with experience in C, C++ and C#Experience in leading people — as a manager, team lead or similarExperience from or familiarity with agile software development methodsStrong communication skills and the ability to create trust and engagement around you
