Measurement & Low-Noise Electronics Engineer

Arkeon is a Chalmers and WACQT spin-out. We trim Josephson junctions electrically after fabrication, so a qubit ends up at the frequency it was designed for. Frequency collisions are one of the reasons a good superconducting chip gets scrapped today. We just closed our seed round. Right now we are about two and a half full time people. The trimming only works if we can trust the resistance we measure on the junction. A small error there turns into a big error in the qubit frequency. Getting that number right is the job. You would run the room-temperature measurements on our probe station, keep the noise down, and add new instruments to the setup as we need them. What you need:- MSc in electrical engineering or engineering physics.- Experience with precision DC measurements, microvolt to millivolt range.- Hands-on with source-measure units, lock-in amplifiers and oscilloscopes.- You can read a schematic and debug a measurement setup on your own.- Python for instrument control.
