Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Mechanical Commissioning (Cx) Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical projects. Reporting to the Cx Manager. Responsibilities: Carry out hands-on mechanical commissioning activities in line with approved commissioning plans and proceduresExecute mechanical commissioning protocols including system testing, fault-finding, diagnostics, and functional performance testingEnsure HVAC and mechanical services operate in accordance with design intent, specifications, and performance criteriaWitness and support vendor commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with approved project documentationConduct day-to-day on-site commissioning operations, including system inspections and readiness checksManage and complete the commissioning tagging process in line with project proceduresTrack the receipt, review, and compliance of commissioning documentation to achieve required Cx level sign-offSupport quality management for on-site service and commissioning activitiesEnsure commissioning activities are delivered in line with project schedules and milestonesAdhere strictly to project Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements at all timesMaintain clear communication with commissioning managers, vendors, and other project stakeholders

Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a recognised Mechanical Trade with appropriate training and experienceMinimum 3 years' experience in a similar Mechanical Commissioning Engineer roleStrong commissioning experience on HVAC and mechanical systems within commercial, industrial, or data centre environmentsSolid understanding of construction environments and safe systems of workStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to act decisivelyProcess-driven mindset with a strong focus on EHS and Quality Management SystemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to maintain positive working relationships with contractors and vendors on site
