Mechanics Supervisor

We are looking for a Mechanics Supervisor to join our beverage can factory in **Hämeenlinna**.

**Mechanics Supervisor**

We are looking for a supervisor to join our Mechanical Maintenance department. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of mechanics and machinists, as well as maintenance processes and resources, to ensure continuous operation of machinery and equipment.

**Main responsibilities:**

· Supervise the work of the mechanical team by assigning tasks, managing absences, and monitoring task execution and team efficiency.

· Organize and oversee workshop activities, including planning and execution of inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

· Identify and resolve technical issues, initiate and implement improvement actions and continuous improvement projects.

· Collaborate with other departments on downtime planning, implementation of new technical solutions, and process optimization.

· Develop and maintain a constant safety environment and provide necessary training updates while striving for zero incidents

**Our expectations:**

· Relevant technical education, preferably in mechanics or machine construction.

· Experience from industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or equipment servicing within a manufacturing or production environment.

· Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively in English
