Network Engineer (Network Automation)Remote 6-month contractUp to €100 per hour (Based on a 40-hour working week)Digital Skills is proud to partner with a leading global travel agency in the search for an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in Data Center networking and Network Automation.As part of the Networking team, you’ll play a key role in delivering a large-scale lift-and-shift data centre migration, which includes designing, building, and deploying new network infrastructure. You’ll be instrumental in improving automation, monitoring, and network stability across a globally distributed environment. Working closely with network and IT teams across the world, you’ll contribute to a fast-paced, high-impact program in a rapidly scaling business.Key Skills and Experience:Proven experience in building and maintaining network automation stacks (using Python)Strong knowledge of zero-touch provisioning and automated configuration managementExpertise in monitoring network quality, availability, and performanceDeep understanding of routing and switching, the TCP/IP stack, and protocols such as BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, IPv6, and MPLSHands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing large-scale data centre networksExperience with private cloud network virtualizationFamiliarity with multi-vendor networking environmentsProven track record in incident management and vendor coordinationNice to Have:Experience working with AWS networking If this is the right role for you and you have the required skill set, please do apply.
