New Market Setup Specialist

About the Role Green SM (GSM) is one of Europe's most exciting new startups; a vertically integrated mobility solution with successful launches in multiple markets, now expanding into Europe. We're looking for a Setup Specialist to join the European setup team and build the business from the ground up in Sweden: vehicles, depots, and charging infrastructure, plus supporting other teams as we launch and scale.This is a high-ownership, execution-focused role where you will work alongside highly capable team members - successful candidates will need to be fast-paced, structured, and commercially minded. You'll do the setup work and help write the blueprint for GSM's EU expansion, with real accountability and impact from day one. What You'll Do Lead the hands-on setup of vehicles, depots, and AC/DC charging infrastructure [the largest fleet scale build-out in Europe]Source vendors, negotiate contracts, and self-manage them to meet deadlinesTrack setup progress, report issues or delays to relevant stakeholders, and troubleshoot to minimise disruptionSupport other departments in setting up and expanding marketsMaintain documentation, checklists, and setup records for repeatable, scalable processesCollaborate with setup teams in other markets to share learnings What We're Looking For A proactive self-starter who executes quickly, takes ownership, and thrives in fast-paced environmentsStructured problem-solver: builds repeatable processes into decision-making, and raises issues early with a proposed solutionComfortable navigating unfamiliar topics autonomously, while knowing when to ask for supportClear, direct communicator who can lead and influence across teamsWorking knowledge of vendor engagement (sourcing, negotiating, contracts), corporate budgeting/payment processes or EV Charging infrastructure is considered a plusBackground in consulting, engineering, or a high velocity startup preferred, though open to strong problem-solvers from any background. 6-8+ years' experience preferred, though open to all levels if you can demonstrate the required qualities Why Join GSM Be part of the founding European setup team and grow with us as we expandBacked by Vietnam's largest company, with the growth trajectory of a fast-scaling European startupReal decision-making authority with tangible, visible impactLearn alongside counterparts across other marketsHelp build the future of green transport in Europe
