Payroll Manager

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager for a strategic assignment in Stockholm. You will oversee end-to-end payroll delivery within a complex Swedish environment, ensuring full regulatory compliance, team leadership, and ongoing process digitalisation. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate, compliant, and timely end-to-end payroll delivery for multiple employee groups and collective agreements.Lead, mentor, and set priorities for the payroll team to maintain operational stability.Monitor quality, controls, and risks, proactively driving process improvements and automation.Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, IT, Rewards, and external payroll providers.Align operational needs with payroll systems, data flows, and long-term technical development. Requirements & QualificationsExtensive hands-on expertise in Swedish end-to-end payroll and local legislation.Mandatory: Proficiency in the Swedish language.Strong background in payroll systems, integrations, and transformation initiatives (SAP and HRM-related payroll flows are highly advantageous).Demonstrated leadership experience managing senior payroll specialists through change and operational complexity.Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills using payroll data to mitigate risks.
