Within this operating model, Trade Compliance processes play an important role in enabling compliant, efficient and sustainable business flows across the Mining organisation.

We are looking for a structured, curious and collaborative person to join our process organisation as a Process Specialist, with a dedicated focus on Trade Compliance. This is an opportunity to drive process development, data-driven improvement and digital transformation in an area that is business-critical and increasingly important in a changing regulatory environment.

We are now recruiting for a Process Specialist, Trade Compliance (hybrid) for a permanent role in our Dublin, Ireland, Sweden or Finland office.

We are looking for a structured, curious and collaborative Process Specialist with a focus on Trade Compliance. This is a key role for someone who enjoys working across functions, connecting business needs with process design, data, systems and practical ways of working.

Trade Compliance is becoming increasingly important in a complex and changing global regulatory environment. In this role, you will help shape scalable and sustainable processes that support compliant and efficient international business operations.

Job Purpose

As Process Specialist – Trade Compliance, you will play a key role in driving the development, alignment and continuous improvement of Trade Compliance processes. You will help translate business and compliance needs into clear process requirements, support digital solutions and enable adoption across an international organisation.

The role requires strong process understanding, stakeholder engagement and the ability to work across business, system and data topics.

You will support process areas such as

Import and export complianceSanctions and denied party screeningCustoms documentation and customs proceduresProduct classification, country of origin and trade preference processesTrade Compliance reporting, analytics and data qualitySAP S/4HANA and SAP GTS enabled process solutions

Main Responsibilities

Contribute to the alignment and development of Trade Compliance processes across the Mining organisation, ensuring that common ways of working are clear, practical and fit for purpose.Engage with Trade Compliance stakeholders, process owners, Business Areas and divisions to understand business needs, process pain points, regulatory requirements and improvement opportunities.Translate business and compliance needs into clear process requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and documentation to support solution design and delivery.Take an active role in SAP S/4HANA and SAP GTS related process design, testing, implementation and post go-live support from a Trade Compliance process perspective.Support and continuously improve process documentation, including future process models, work instructions, training material and other artefacts required for sustainable process ownership.Support data quality, reporting and analytics initiatives by helping define business requirements, validate outputs and promote self-service reports for Trade Compliance users.Participate in SAP GTS and other relevant system implementations by supporting testing activities, including preparation of test scenarios, execution of process tests, defect follow-up and user acceptance testing.Contribute to change impact assessments and contribute to adoption activities, helping business users understand process changes and how they affect daily operations.Monitor process performance, collect feedback and support continuous improvement activities in close collaboration with the wider process organisation.Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for Trade Compliance process questions, supporting issue clarification and helping distinguish between process, training, data and system-related topics.Other Ad hoc duties as requested by management

Experience

You are analytical, structured and comfortable working with complexity. You enjoy asking the right questions, connecting different perspectives and turning business needs into clear and practical process solutions.

You have experience in process work, business analysis, continuous improvement, projects or change initiatives. Experience in Trade Compliance, logistics, customs, SAP S/4HANA, SAP GTS is an advantage, but curiosity, collaboration and a strong process mindset are equally important.
