Product Developer – Food / Development Chef (Freelance) SIN Ramen | Stockholm

We’re looking for someone who gets genuinely excited about food. Someone who thinks about flavours, ingredients and combinations. Who loves developing new dishes, experimenting in the kitchen and turning ideas into food people want to come back for.SIN Ramen is looking for a Product Developer / Development Chef to help us develop and evolve our food as we continue to grow. The role You’ll work hands-on with the development of our menu and food concept – from new ideas and recipes to testing, refining and implementing products in our restaurants. Your work may include:

• Developing new dishes, recipes and menu concepts• Improving and refining existing products• Testing flavours, ingredients, techniques and combinations• Developing and standardising recipes for consistent execution across our restaurants• Working with portions, ingredients and food cost• Exploring food trends and new ideas relevant to SIN• Collaborating with our kitchen and operations teams• Taking ideas from first test to a product that works in an actual restaurant environment

Who we’re looking for You have a strong culinary background and experience developing food, menus or food concepts.You might currently be a Product Developer, Development Chef, Head Chef, Sous Chef or culinary consultant – the exact title matters less to us than your experience, creativity and understanding of food. You’re someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for food and product development• Has experience creating and developing dishes or food concepts• Has a strong understanding of flavours, ingredients and cooking techniques• Is creative and curious, but also understands consistency, cost and restaurant operations• Enjoys experimenting, testing and continuously improving• Can turn an idea into a structured recipe that can be executed by a team

Experience with Japanese or Asian cuisine is a strong plus, but not a requirement. The setup At this stage, we’re looking for someone to join us on a freelance/consultancy basis. The scope and setup will be shaped together depending on experience, availability and our ongoing development needs. The role is based in Stockholm and involves hands-on development together with our team. About SIN Ramen SIN Ramen is a Stockholm-based ramen concept built around craftsmanship, bold flavours and a genuine love for food.
