Role DescriptionThe Project Architect will lead and coordinate architectural design projects, focusing on Data Center assignments in Finland. In this full-time, on-site role, the Project Architect will develop concepts and detailed designs, prepare and review drawings and documentation, manage submittals, and ensure compliance with local building codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with clients, engineers, and contractors, overseeing project progress, and supporting design integrity from early concept through construction. The role also involves using BIM tools, contributing to sustainable design solutions, and participating in site visits, inspections, and design meetings to resolve technical issues and maintain project quality. QualificationsStrong architectural design skills and experience in renovation, repair, and commercial projects (Architecture).Proficiency in managing project schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary coordination (Project Management).Ability to prepare, review, and track project documentation and approvals (Submittals).Knowledge of sustainable design standards, including experience with or exposure to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).Hands-on experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows.Relevant degree in Architecture or a closely related field; professional registration or eligibility for registration is an advantage.Familiarity with Finnish building regulations and standards; experience in the Helsinki or Nordic market is beneficial.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and with clients.Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail under deadlines.Fluency in English; proficiency in Finnish or willingness to develop Finnish language skills is an asset.
