Project Execution Engineer - BESS (m/f/x)

We are looking for an experienced Project Execution Engineer to support the technical execution and delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. You will be responsible for coordinating engineering deliverables, managing technical interfaces and ensuring that project designs are completed and released in line with project requirements and schedules. Working closely with internal engineering teams, suppliers, EPC contractors and customers, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful integration and delivery of complete BESS solutions. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the technical execution and system integration of BESS projects, including battery systems, PCS, MV equipment, EMS/SCADA and auxiliary systems.Develop, review and coordinate project engineering documentation, including plant architecture, single-line diagrams (SLDs), interface documents, control and communication diagrams, and equipment specifications.Manage technical interfaces between different BESS components and identify potential integration or design conflicts.Coordinate with internal engineering teams, suppliers, EPC contractors and customers to clarify technical requirements and resolve engineering issues.Manage engineering deliverables according to the project schedule, ensuring documentation is reviewed, approved and released on time to support EPC execution.Identify technical gaps, interface risks and design conflicts at an early stage and drive appropriate corrective actions.Support technical discussions with customers and project stakeholders throughout project execution.Contribute to technical problem-solving, lessons learned and continuous improvement of BESS project execution. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Automation or a related technical discipline.Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the BESS industry.At least 2 years of experience in Application Engineering, Solution Engineering, Project Execution or a comparable technical role.Demonstrated experience in the delivery of complete BESS projects, including DC systems, PCS and EMS/SCADA integration.Strong understanding of BESS system architecture, electrical interfaces and system integration.Ability to read and review electrical drawings, SLDs, technical specifications and control/communication diagrams.Strong technical problem-solving, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.Structured and detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple engineering deliverables and deadlines.Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage, especially Chinese.
