Project Lead

Enersense Engineering is looking for experienced Project Lead to support a major data centre construction project in Helsinki, Finland. The role will be responsible for leading the overall delivery of complex mission-critical works from design through construction and handover. Main tasks and responsibilities: Lead the overall delivery of a large-scale data centre construction project from inception through to completionManage project cost, schedule, and budget, ensuring effective control throughout all phasesOversee and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth project executionMonitor and control key milestone activities, proactively identifying and mitigating schedule risksReview and evaluate construction proposals, pricing submissions, and scopes of workLead client meetings, progress meetings, and other project coordination sessionsTrack, analyse, and report on cost drivers, providing data-driven commercial insights and recommendationsManage procurement activities and oversee long-lead equipment planning and delivery schedulesReview, validate, and audit cost estimates, variations, and commercial submissions from subcontractors and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with project quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements across all activitiesCoordinate effectively with engineering, construction, and project controls teams to ensure alignment across disciplinesSupport project close-out activities, ensuring all deliverables, documentation, and handover requirements are completed Requirements: Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction project delivery or a similar senior roleProven experience delivering large-scale construction projects, preferably within data centres or other mission-critical environmentsStrong understanding of construction sequencing, project controls, procurement processes, and project lifecycle managementExperience managing subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teamsStrong commercial awareness, including cost control, budgeting, and financial reportingExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced, high-demand project environmentsStrong organisational and time management skillsProficiency in MS Office and relevant project management toolsEnglish language skills We follow pay transparency principles and the salary level and the criteria used to determine it will be communicated to candidates before the interview.
