Nilörn works closely with some of the world’s leading brands within the fashion, sportswear, and lifestyle industries.We're currently looking for a Compliance Specialist Labelling to strengthen our current team during a maternity leave. About the RoleIt is the Labelling Compliance Specialist that is responsible for being updated on and providing the regulatory required information based on customer needs and product groups to the product developers and sales organisation. Nilörn's Labelling Compliance Specialist guides and assists in choosing the correct symbols for packaging while taking geographical differences and Extended Producer Responsibility schemes into consideration. ResponsibilitiesMonitor regulatory developments in national and international legislation related to garment care labelling and packaging, proactively adapting strategies to maintain compliance, with focus on territories we and our clients work in.Providing comprehensive legal guidance on care labelling and packaging to internal teams and external clients, considering relevant legislation.Collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to address the challenges posed by varying legal frameworks globally, facilitating effective communication and understanding.Stay updated on regulations and their impact on the CSR & Sustainability department, and assist in effective implementation. Identifying potential legal risks and challenges associated with Nilörn’s offer concerning care labelling and packaging, developing strategies to mitigate any risk effectively. Supporting internal teams by facilitating translation processes, managing and providing translations requested by clients for care labelling. Engaging with clients to understand their specific legal requirements, providing tailored advice and solutions that align with both their needs and relevant legal requirements. Administering a database of relevant compliance information, structuring, and using it to provide applicable compliance information to different departments.Maintaining accurate records of the advice provided and measures implemented.Participating in the preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.Conducting training sessions for internal teams and clients on relevant legal aspects of care labelling and packaging to enhance awareness and compliance. QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in regulatory compliance, law, textile management, purchasing or related disciplines. At least 3 years of relevant experience.A thorough understanding of relevant legislations.A background in regulatory compliance including knowledge of GINETEX, ISO and environment labelling, specifically as they apply to the labelling of apparel and packaging.Experience from work in a global and complex organisation, where several countries and business areas need to come together to contribute to group targets. Experience of collecting data, maintaining, and analysing data for inclusion in papers, reports and projects or presentations.Highly self-motivated and organized; able to lead/contribute initiatives with authority and creativity.High attention to detail, curiosity, and future thinking. Good interpersonal skills and ability to network and utilise internal and external resources.Good communicator and fluent in English (written and spoken).
