Release Manager

ERP Platform Release ManagerWe’re looking for an experienced ERP Platform Release Manager to own the planning, coordination, and governance of our ERP platform release lifecycle. You’ll ensure that enhancements, configuration changes, integrations, and projects are delivered in a controlled, predictable, and business-aligned way—minimising risk and disruption while maximising value. About the RoleAs the central point of coordination for all ERP releases, you’ll work across functional teams, infrastructure, integration specialists, business stakeholders, vendors, and project managers to drive successful deployment and adoption of platform changes.You’ll be responsible for:Planning and coordinating the end-to-end release lifecycle for the ERP platform and associated applications, integrations, and technology componentsManaging deployment of ERP enhancements, patches, fixes, and projects in line with IT change management processesOwning release schedules, dependencies, risks, and conflicts—and communicating proactively with all stakeholdersOverseeing release communications, stakeholder notifications, and go/no-go decision pointsEnsuring robust rollback and contingency plans are defined, documented, and testedServing as the primary contact for release coordination across business, IT, and external vendors/system integratorsProviding regular, clear status reporting to leadership and key stakeholders on release progress, risks, and outcomesWhat You’ll BringProven experience as a Release Manager, Release Coordinator, or similar within complex ERP environments (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM change and release management practices and how they apply to ERP platformsDemonstrable ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and resolve scheduling conflictsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior business and IT leadersExperience working with external vendors and system integrators in a release governance capacityA structured, risk-aware mindset with strong organisational and documentation skillsFamiliarity with release automation, CI/CD concepts, or DevOps practices in an ERP context is a plus
