SAP AATP Consultant (m/f/d)

For a global company in the life sciences sector, we are looking for an experienced SAP AATP Consultant to support a major SAP OTC project.The focus of the project is the further development of SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP) to optimize order fulfillment processes between Sales and Supply Chain. We are looking for an experienced SAP expert with strong process knowledge who can analyze complex requirements and translate them into practical solution approaches within an SAP S/4HANA landscape. Project DetailsStart: November 2026Duration: 6 person-months++Workload: 30–40 hours per weekLocation: RemoteTravel: Low (<10%) (to DACH/UK)Project language: EnglishRegion: Europe Qualifications:Several years of experience as an SAP AATP Consultant, with at least 5 years of experienceIn-depth expertise in SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP)Experience with Product Allocation (PAL)Experience with Backorder Processing (BOP)In-depth knowledge of Substitution and Order FulfillmentDemonstrable experience in the SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) environmentExperience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and transformation projectsStrong process understanding of the interaction between Sales and Supply ChainAbility to translate complex business requirements into practical solution approachesInternational project experience and/or experience working abroadVery good communication skillsProcess-oriented working style and strong analytical thinkingFluent/business-level EnglishGerman and/or French is an advantageExperience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated environment is desirable Responsibilities:Analyze existing order fulfillment processesEvaluate business requirements within the SAP AATP environmentDevelop project-specific solution concepts for Product Allocation, Substitution, and Backorder ProcessingIndependently conduct process and system analyses within an SAP S/4HANA landscapeProvide consulting and subject-matter expertise in Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP)Identify optimization potential across the OTC process chainAdvise on complex process scenarios and suitable solution optionsProvide project-specific consulting in the areas of Allocation, Supply Management, and Order FulfillmentConduct project-specific root cause analyses within the AATP contextIndependently document functional and technical requirements
