About the roleCurrently, for a new Seargin project we are looking for SAP Business Analyst S4C Fleet URR to join a program, migrating markets from SAP ByDesign to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The specific focus is Universal/Revenue Recognition (URR) for the Fleet Management business — the leasing/rental sales model (as opposed to the LTS outright-purchase model), which today runs highly customized SAP RAR on S/4HANA Private Cloud. This is genuinely uncharted territory — there is currently no defined process or standard for URR. The consultant will act as the bridge between the Fleet Management Scrum team (Product Owner + 2-3 IT Business Analysts) and the dedicated Finance Scrum team leading the URR implementation, representing Fleet Management's business processes (master contracts, leasing/renting lifecycle: pinning, pausing, etc.) throughout solution design. Rather than following existing guidance, this person is expected to drive the discovery, research, and process design themselves — proposing direction proactively rather than waiting for instructions. Current live solution landscape: SAP Solution Order Management (S/4HANA Public Cloud), moving toward SAP Subscription Billing. Employment Type: contractFTE: full-timeWorking mode: remote from Europe Responsibilities:Contribute to Product Innovation and Improvement:Develop a deep understanding of business processes, business value, and related IT systems, serving as the subject matter expert for the assigned product area (Fleet Management - URR).Act as the primary point of contact for the assigned product area, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.Identify opportunities for improvement, analyse business gaps, and define functional requirements for new features and enhancements.Translate business requirements into user-centric, scalable, and sustainable solutions, ensuring alignment with end-to-end business processes.Contribute to the creation and refinement of user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog items.Actively participate in product roadmap planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization activities to maximize business value.Contribute to solution design and architecture, including integrations and system dependencies, across design, build, testing, and deployment phases.Perform SAP configuration/customizing where required and support the implementation of approved solutions.Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities, including test strategy, test cases, test matrices, and defect management, with a strong focus on quality.Support and execute data migration activities to enable successful solution deployments.Coordinate product releases and rollouts, performing readiness assessments and go-live validation checks.Investigate incidents, defects, and production issues, driving resolution in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.Maintain accurate and up-to-date process, solution, and product documentation.Provide regular status updates, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and ensure effective communication across business and IT teams.Continuously monitor product performance and user feedback, identifying opportunities for ongoing optimization and innovation. Contribute to Support and Operations:Provide support for assigned product area in ServiceNow, including ticket handling.Monitor and analyse solution usage, initiating follow-up actions as needed.Identify product improvement opportunities and ensure their realization in the product development process Requirements:Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in information management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant / Business Analyst, with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) within SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.Proven experience in SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including Solution Order Management in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.Good understanding of subscription-based business models; exposure to SAP Subscription Billing is an advantage.Nice to have know-how on Universal Revenue Recognition (URR), Revenue Accounting, and Finance & Accounting processes. Technical Skills:Strong experience in requirements analysis, solution design, SAP configuration/customizing, testing, and deployment activities.Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and product-centric ways of working.Proficiency with software development and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian products.Familiarity with integration concepts, data migration activities, and release management processes within SAP landscapes.
