Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile development teams within a large and complex IT environment. The successful candidate will coach teams in Agile/Scrum practices, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement and effective delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure Scrum principles and Agile ways of working are understood and effectively implemented.Coach Development Teams toward self-organization, cross-functionality and continuous improvement.Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.Remove impediments and protect teams from unnecessary interruptions and distractions.Support Product Owners with backlog management, prioritization and capacity planning.Manage scope and changes within sprints while maintaining team focus and delivery commitments.Conduct team health checks and follow up on delivery performance and improvement actions.Help prevent scope creep and maintain alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.Work closely with DevOps, engineering and software development teams.Support stakeholders in understanding and adopting Scrum and empirical product development.Navigate complex IT and business processes within a large organization.Promote modern software development and Agile delivery practices. Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in Scrum Master / similar Agile roles.Strong hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum ways of working.Proven experience coaching teams toward self-organization and continuous improvement.Strong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.Experience removing impediments and managing scope/change within sprints.Experience supporting Product Owners with backlog and capacity management.Experience working with DevOps/engineering teams and modern software delivery practices.Good understanding of modern software development.Ability to translate product and business objectives into technical solutions.Experience working within large and complex IT organizations.Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.Previous software development experience in an Agile environment is an advantage.IT Project Management experience is beneficial.University degree in IT, Engineering or a related field.Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
