Security Specialist

About Green SM Green SM is a leading electric vehicle (EV) and sustainable mobility provider headquartered in Vietnam. As we expand into the European market, we are building a strong operational team in the Sweden to support our growing business. We are looking for a hands-on Security Specialist to help protect our people, vehicles, facilities, and operations while supporting a safe and efficient working environment. Role Overview The Security Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day security operations across Green SM locations in Sweden. This is a predominantly field-based position, with most working time spent at depots conducting inspections, interacting with employees and contractors, investigating incidents, and monitoring compliance with company procedures. While the primary focus of the role is security, the successful candidate will also support operational safety and quality control activities to help ensure high standards across the business. This role is particularly suited to experienced security professionals who are looking to take the next step into an in-house corporate security position. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of depots, facilities, vehicle storage areas, and operational locations. Verify compliance with security and safety policies. Work with drivers and employees to understand the different security and safety challenges the company is facing Monitor the security of vehicles, charging infrastructure, equipment, and company assets. Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints and safety-related incidents. Identify and investigate security and safety risks, vulnerabilities, and policy breaches. Carry out security and safety checks and site assessments. Assist with the implementation of security and safety improvements and corrective actions. Who We're Looking For We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Security guarding Mobile patrol services Corporate security Control room operations Aviation security Retail loss prevention Law enforcement Military service Other security-related roles Candidates looking to develop their careers beyond traditional guarding roles are strongly encouraged to apply. Requirements Essential Experience in a security-related role. Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Experience dealing with incidents Good report-writing skills. Strong attention to detail and professionalism. Full driving licence. Good command of Swedish and English. Preferred Security related education such as MBO Security or other security related education. Experience conducting patrols, inspections, or compliance checks. Experience preparing incident reports. Experience in taxi, transport, logistics, mobility, aviation, hospitality, or retail environments. Basic understanding of health and safety principles
