Role: Senior Consultant – SCCM Infrastructure Setup & MigrationLocation: Sweden The role requires direct engagement with business stakeholders, local IT teams, infrastructure teams, and project management resources to support SCCM infrastructure deployment, enterprise device migration, testing, rollout coordination, knowledge transfer, and post-deployment stabilization activities. Key ResponsibilitiesSCCM Infrastructure Design & DeploymentDesign, build, and configure SCCM Current Branch infrastructure, including rolesPrimary Site server, DP, MP, SUP, SQL integration and SSRS.Configure SCCM boundaries, boundary groups, discovery methods, client settings, and content distribution strategies.Implement security best practices, role-based administration, and infrastructure hardening.Configure monitoring, reporting, backup, and disaster recovery processes for SCCM infrastructure. Factory Device MigrationDesign and maintain Windows operating system deployment solutions using SCCM.Create and manage task sequences, boot images, driver packages, and deployment collections.Support bare-metal deployment, refresh, replacement, and migration scenarios.Validate imaging processes and provide deployment readiness testing. Device Migration ActivitiesPlan and execute enterprise device migration activities from legacy environments to the target infrastructure.Perform wave-based migration of corporate devices while minimizing business disruption.Develop migration runbooks, rollback procedures, and cutover plans.Coordinate deployment schedules with business stakeholders and local site teams. Software Distribution & Patch ManagementConfigure and manage software deployment solutions using SCCM Application Model.Deploy business applications and updates through controlled deployment rings.Configure Automatic Deployment Rules (ADR) and Software Update Groups.Monitor software deployment success rates and remediation activities.Ensure device compliance with corporate patching and security standards. Compliance & Endpoint ManagementConfigure Configuration Baselines and Compliance Settings.Monitor client health, software inventory, hardware inventory, and compliance metrics.Produce operational and management reports using SCCM and SSRS.Support corporate security and governance requirements. Testing, Documentation & Knowledge TransferPrepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and operational documentation.Execute pilot testing, validation activities, and production rollouts.Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with support and operations teams. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with infrastructure, server, network, security, application, and workplace teams.Participate in project planning, design reviews, migration workshops, and governance meetings.Coordinate with client stakeholders for change management, deployment approvals, and implementation schedules.Provide technical guidance during transition and hypercare phases.
