The Role: We are seeking experienced Azure Data Factory Data Engineer to join a critical, long-term project focused on enhancing and optimizing existing data systems within the healthcare domain.Your primary focus will be designing, improving, and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows that handle sensitive healthcare data.This is a full-time, long-term remote engagement where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing data solutions. What we are looking for: 5+ years of professional experience as a Data EngineerPractical experience with Azure Data Factory for orchestration and pipeline management, 3+ yearsStrong proficiency in SQL with proven experience optimizing complex queriesHands-on experience with Snowflake in production environmentsSolid experience with ETL/ELT processes and data transformation techniquesExperience working with sensitive healthcare data and understanding of compliance and data protection requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication skills in English (written and spoken)Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed teamAbility to work independently and deliver high-quality results remotelyLocated in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours), we are unable to consider applications from candidates in other time zones. Nice-to-have: Experience with Talend (especially for understanding or maintaining legacy data processes)Familiarity with DBT for modern data transformation workflowsExperience working in structured product teams with product owners, delivery managers, and architectsKnowledge of data governance and data modeling best practicesExperience with performance monitoring and pipeline observability tools
