Senior Delphi Developer - Remote - Applicants must be EU Citizens - Long Term Contract We are seeking a Senior Delphi Developer to join a contract engagement supporting the development and modernisation of business critical applications. The role involves working across the full software lifecycle, from architecture and design through to production support, within an environment that values clean code and reliable delivery. This is a hands on position for a developer who can work independently on complex, legacy heavy codebases. Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and optimise business applications using Delphi and Object PascalDesign and manage database interactions across SQL Server, Firebird, PostgreSQL, and OracleBuild and integrate RESTful web services and SOAP based interfacesRefactor and modernise legacy applications while preserving business logicDiagnose and resolve complex production issues, providing advanced supportContribute to software architecture decisions and UI/UX improvements Key Skills and Experience:Strong hands on experience with Delphi and Object PascalSolid understanding of Object Oriented Programming principlesProficiency in SQL and relational database designExperience with SQL Server, Firebird, PostgreSQL, or OraclePractical experience building RESTful and SOAP integrationsStrong troubleshooting skills across application and database layersExperience contributing to software architecture decisions Desirable Skills:Experience working with legacy application modernisation projectsFamiliarity with UI/UX improvement initiatives in desktop applicationsExposure to multiple relational database platforms within a single project
