Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (Serverless & Infrastructure as Code) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Location: Fully remote within the EUAllocation: 100.0% Project: Cloud Infrastructure Modernization Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling a modern cloud-native infrastructure. You will focus heavily on serverless architectures, AWS Lambda, advanced Terraform, and CI/CD automation, ensuring systems are highly secure, reliable, and performant. Key Responsibilities & DeliverablesInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform as an expert standard, ensuring high availability, modularity, and security across environments.Serverless Architecture Optimization: Collaborate with development teams to architect, deploy, and scale serverless applications, heavily leveraging AWS Lambda, API Gateways, and event-driven patterns.CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and modern deployment tooling to streamline code delivery.Monitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog) to proactively identify performance bottlenecks and system failures.Security & Compliance: Enforce cloud security best practices, IAM policies, secret management, and compliance standards across all serverless and containerized workloads.Collaboration: Act as a bridge between development and operations teams, fostering a culture of automation, reliability, and continuous improvement. Required Skills & CompetenciesExperience: 7+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Infrastructure role.Cloud Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with AWS (specifically Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, and VPC networking).IaC Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Terraform (module creation, state management, and enterprise-scale deployments).CI/CD & Automation: Strong experience configuring and managing Jenkins pipelines (Jenkinsfile, shared libraries, plugins) alongside Git-based workflows.Scripting Skills: Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for automation tasks.Mindset: Strong troubleshooting skills, a passion for automation, and the ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment. Project & Team Environment (Nice to Have)Experience with other serverless frameworks (e.g., Serverless Framework, AWS SAM).Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) if hybrid workloads exist.AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect).
