Senior Electrical Power Engineer

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Power Engineer to support assignments within electrical power and power transmission. Our client is a well-established Nordic company operating within electrical power solutions and power distribution. The company delivers technically advanced solutions to customers across a range of industries and is currently experiencing continued growth. With a strong focus on engineering, quality and long-term customer relationships, the organization offers an opportunity to work on technically interesting projects in a collaborative environment.

As a Senior Electrical Power Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and engineering of electrical power systems and solutions, working closely with project management and production. The role combines hands-on electrical design with technical responsibility, ensuring that solutions meet customer requirements, applicable standards and high quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

Electrical design and engineering of, among other things, low- and medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, protection relays and control equipment, as well as alarm and monitoring systemsPreparation of construction and installation documentation based on input from the Project ManagerEnsuring that technical requirements, regulations, codes and standards are metProviding technical support to project management and productionParticipation in testing and commissioning is considered an advantagePreparing as-built documentation following project delivery

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:

University degree / Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalentAt least 5 years of experience in electrical power engineering and electrical system/facility designExperience with EPLAN and AutoCADSolid experience working with 2D CAD and ExcelGood knowledge of codes, regulations and standards within the electrical industryPractical experience from the electrical power industry is considered an advantage
